Adarve: Triste Condesa Street

From the parapet where we are standing, the first thing we see is the Condestable Square and the main artery of our town, which, as it could not be otherwise, is dedicated to our beloved and remembered "Triste Condesa" (Sad Countess). Now, you understand a bit better why this street has such a peculiar name, and I'm sure you won't forget it.
Triste Condesa Street is a bustling thoroughfare and the main hub of life in our town. Here, shops, restaurants, and other services blend together, ensuring that the street is always vibrant, especially during spring and summer, when the main festive and cultural events take place in this town. Highlights include the "cabezudos" (giant-headed figures) and the "toro de fuego" (fire bull) during the August, September, and October festivities, as well as the processions during Holy Week and the procession in honor of our patron, the Virgin of the Pillar of Arenas.
